Moving the deceased into our care

The next step is to collect the deceased and place them into our care. If the death occurred at home, some family members might want to visit them at home before we arrive and pay their last respects in familiar surroundings.

Our private ambulance will pick up the deceased. Once the doctor has attended it’s really up to you how quickly this happens, we are on call 24 hours a day. Our team handle this stage with the utmost respect for the deceased and other family members. Your wishes are important to us and will be respected at all times.

The deceased will be taken back to our Chapel of Rest. Jewellery and personal items will be dealt with according to your instructions.

Any of your family or friends are welcome to visit our Chapel of Rest. It’s a peaceful and tranquil place where you can sit and pay your respects or simply remember a life that was lived. You just need to inform us if you would like to visit and we will ensure everything is ready for you.
